Nova Scotia Energy Training Program
This program was created to encourage private sector employers to hire NS post-secondary students for career-related work terms in all sectors of the energy industry during the summer. Small to medium-sized Nova Scotia companies involved in the energy sector may be eligible to receive a 50% wage incentive, to a maximum of $7.50/hour, toward student salaries.
Co-op students can be hired for 12-17 weeks through this program. Applications will be processed as they are received. Employers are urged to submit applications early as the program is experiencing increased demand.
