Student Summer Skills Incentive  – Regular Stream

This program is for not-for-profit organizations and is used to create career-related summer jobs for post-secondary students. Reimbursements are $9.10/hour of a minimum $12.55/hour wage. Applications are available in mid-December with a late January deadline.

The student must work at least 35 hours per week for at least 12 weeks in order to qualify for Acadia Co-op. A work term will be funded for a maximum of 14 weeks. Student Summer Skills Incentive funding can still be used to hire Co-op students even though it is outside of the Co-op stream.
